これはゼロポスター展2019に出品したポスターです。
フィンランドのラハティ・ポスター美術館が主催する 世界的なポスターコンペティション、 ラハティ国際ポスタートリエンナーレ2021にて入選しました。3年に一度のポスターコンペで、今回は51カ国から約2500枚の応募があり、その中から約350枚が選ばれました。
2022年夏頃にフィンランドの展覧会で掲載されたあと、ラハティポスター美術館に収蔵されます。

この展覧会は数字のゼロをテーマにしています。
私はこの作品を作る前にこんな話を聞きました。
子供が先生に質問しました。
「ゼロがたくさん集まったらどうなるの？」
先生は「ゼロは集まってもゼロだよ。なにも生まれないんだよ」子供は悲しそうにうなずいたそうです。
私は子供の頭の中を想像しました。
きっとそこにはゼロがたくさんある楽しい世界が広がっているだろうと思いました。
そこで、ゼロを作る工場を作りました。
大きな製造機からどんどんゼロが生み出されています。生み出されたゼロはすぐに消えてしまいます。
それは日々の中で生まれては消えていく無数のアイデアと似ているのかもしれません。

This exhibition’s theme is number zero. My poster works was selected for Lahti International Poster Triennial 2021, an international competition by Lahti poster museum in Finland. The competition is held once every three years. The exhibition of the competition will be held in Lahti poster museum around the summer of 2022 and my poster will become part of Museum's collection afterwards. This time, I heard that 2,500 posters from 51 different countries were submitted and only 350 posters were selected.

I listened to this story before making it.A child asked the teacher. "What is it became when a lot of zeros gather ?" The teacher said "Even if a lot of zeros gather, zero is zero. It can’t create anything." A child nodes a little sadly. I imagined what the child was thinking. Maybe, I thought there was a lot of zeros and a lovely world of zeros was widely spread. So, I designed factory of zero in my poster. If produces zeros steadily from the manufacturing machine. The newly created zeros will fade away. It is possibly similar to the ideas that are created and fade away everyday.
